About Elizabeth D. Mowbray:
Elizabeth was born in Camden, NJ and raised in West Virginia where she attended Pocahontas County High School and then moved to Virginia where she graduated from Broadway High School, Broadway, VA. She then attended Blue Ridge Community College in Weyers Cave, VA.
The next years of her life was spent working and raising two children. Beth, her daughter, is an Operating Room Nurse in Anchorage, Alaska and Chris, her son, works in Oklahoma City, OK. They have blessed her with 5 beautiful grandchildren.
Her step children, Jenny and Oliver, live in Germany, and Michelle lives in Stafford, VA. She blessed her with 3 more step grandbabies.
Elizabeth joined writing groups and that is where she won writing contests. She started writing children's books two years ago after one of her writing prompts got great reviews. She then started writing stories about Roly Poly and Stumpy. Her books are on Amazon and Kindle.
Now she writes and lives with her sixth grade sweetheart, Mitchell, in Stafford, VA. Her favorite motto is "Life is just what you make it," and "If you want it bad enough, you will have it. You just have to work for it." Elizabeth is a member of the Virginia Writers Group and the Northern Virginia Writer's Group. She says she writes to make the children smile.
